Congratulations Wrestlers!
We all want to congratulate Taft wrestlers Francisco Lozano (1st in the Regionals, 2nd in the Sectionals), Gerardo Bucio (1st in the Regionals, 4th in the Sectionals) and Luke Capone (3rd in the Regionals) and continue to root for Francisco & Gerardo as they compete in the State Tournament on March 12th - 14th. Also, kudos to Rick Young, Marvin Martinez, Gerardo Bucio & Luke Capone for making the Chicago All-City Academic Team. Keep up the great work wrestlers!

Taft Boys Softball Finally Solves Lane City Playoff Puzzle
Taft was looking for a sturdy medieval sword prior to the 16-inch softball city playoffs. After losing to Lane Tech in the semifinals each of the last four seasons, the Eagles were able to finally overcome their nemisis by erasing the Indians 18-8 in six innings in the city semifinals Thursday at UIC.
