The Booster Club did very well on our first fundraiser of selling raffle tickets during freshmen orientation.  We sold 138 tickets and 100% of the proceeds go to support the athletics of Taft high school.  We want to thank all the parents and freshmen students that supported our school sports in participating in this fundraiser.  We owe David from Total Promotions a big thank you for donating the prizes in the raffle.  We never would have had a successful raffle without his help.  Thank you Faro Vitale (Taft Alumni) and the Wilson family for helping out with the raffle during freshmen orientation. 

     We are going to set up a meeting with the athletic director and any Taft coaches to put together a wish list for the sports teams and to get feed back from coaches to see how we can help them out.  The meeting will hopefully take place before the end of this month.  Meeting date and time will be available on the Taft website.  Many teams have started their season, so grab the family and come out to see a game. 

     Thank you Dr. Tarvardian and the LSC for giving us the go ahead on the raffle and supporting us with our future projects.  The mission of the Taft Booster Club is to support the athletics of Taft high school and to build school pride.  The support of students and parents is the only way this Booster Club will be a success.  Any parent or students that has questions or comments can call 773-640-6441.  All inquiries are welcome.
